Introducing Finding the Simple Good Art Gallery Showcase. The Simple Good is excited to facilitate an art gallery showcase with 3rd and 4th grade students of LEARN Hunter Perkins Campus Charter School in Chicago’s South-side in effort to have students discover their own meaning of the simple good. An after school art program has met twice a week which takes students through a path of discovering different meanings of good through journaling, drawing and finally a painting which will be featured in an art showcase.
We would like to formally invite you to this unique event to hear first-hand the students’ stories on what inspired their simple good art pieces. The art showcase will take place on:
Friday, May 31st @ 5pm at the LEARN Hunter Perkins Campus at 1700 W. 83rd Street.
Special thanks to @bottlenbottega for sponsoring art supplies for the students to help make this event possible.
Please join us for a simply good night.

I woke up one morning after a long night at a work party one day. I was walking through the alley hanging my head in anguish as I made the trek back to work when I spotted this surprise on the floor. A stuffed “Heart” toy. #thesimplegood
